In the White House, no less. And you thought that she, her rhetoric, and MAGA-approved fashion have gone a little quiet. Then came the meeting with the president

It is not known if loquacious Laura Loomer wore a suit to the White House, as those working there prefer their guests to turn up in, but she was there for sure. The words she utters are so much more potent than her dress that what she said in presidential surroundings immediately prodded the listener in the Oval Office to action. Ms Loomer is not only a proud Trumper, she is also a true loyalist, so loyal that she is able to identify who is not and is treacherous enough to deserve getting fired by the Trump administration. Amid her beloved president’s confounding tariff policies that are deeply unsettling for American clothing brands, several members of the National Security Council (NSC) were sacked, reportedly because Ms Loomer, characterised by a perpetual state if discontent, told the president that those men were not loyal, unlike her.

She is known to love to wear Hervé Leger, although there are few publicly available images that showed her in one of the brand’s famous bandage dresses (one blue piece seen in a photo she shot with her idol could be it). It has not been revealed what she wore to the White House to augment her persuasive powers, but it is likely she donned one of the many ill-fitted blazers she loves and less the T-shirts with slogans favouring the former presidential candidate (some she still sells on her website) now that the man is in office. It would be a look that emphasizes her formidable presence and convey her massive confidence. Such as that one dark green dress she wore that garnered her idol’s praise during his presidential campaign: “Laura, how are you? You look so beautiful, as always.”

The NSC firings—reportedly six—came just a day after she visited the White House, suggesting that she is possibly as powerful as anyone in DOGE. The firer later told the media onboard the Air Force One that Laura Loomer, the self-proclaimed “proud Islamaphobe”, is “a very good patriot; she’s a very strong person… she’ll always have something to say, usually very constructive.” Ms Loomer has for, a while now, been a good president whisperer. And although she counts herself as an “investigative journalist”, and is founder of her own divisive website Loomered, host of her incendiary podcast Loomer Unleashed, and a famous serial conspiracy theorist, she desperately desires a job that will bring her close to the Leader of the Free World. She said on X after her White House stunt: “I really want to work for President Trump. There is nothing I want more than that.”
