There are many ridiculous or tacky accessories created to commemorate the Trump campaign. This one takes the cake

Lara Trump is exactly a fashionista that the Trump campaign can be proud of. She knows how to dress to appeal to the MAGA masses. Her fashion sense is no different from the other Trump surrogates, such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and her enemy Laura Loomer. Like them, she has a particular flair in using exaggeration to amplify what she lacks: taste. It, therefore, did not surprise me to see her wearing the bizarre and ridiculous necklace, with a pendant bearing the 3-D likeness of her father-in-law—in gold, no less—and made more authentic with the red MAGA hat. Ms Trump shared on X images of her wearing the necklace and delightfully wrote, “That is what a fun campaign looks like”, forgetting to follow the “fun” with failed.
For someone who, in July, compared Kamala Harris to the 2022 Balenciaga bag that was a faux trash bag, Ms Trump is not opposed to wearing something that would end up in the bag she liken Ms Harris to. “It reminds me of—there was this bag that a very famous designer designed—this was several years ago,” she had said, “and it was a trash bag, but they sold it for $2,000, thinking that people would actually buy it. It’s a similar situation with Kamal Harris.” Lara Trump is not known for her refinement in speech nor elegance in dress, yet here she was accessorising herself with a bust of her father–in-law, strategically placed in the safety of her bosom. Idolatry, it seems, has no limits.
The necklace was presented to her by White rapper Forgiato Blow. And she did not hesitate to show her appreciation: “Absolutely love your necklace.” She then wore it for her interview with Floridian media personality Benny Johnson. If only she received the jewellery earlier, she would have been able to burden her neck with it for the music video of her anthemic single Hero. Netizens have been quick to weigh in. “Her gaudy gold dog collar,” went one comment. Forgiato Blow (aka Kurt Jantz), who calls himself the “mayor of MAGAville”, had, in fact, previously worn the head of Trump in his own MVs for unsubtle, Trump-worshipping songs, such as I Stand With Trump and thenTeflon Trump. In the latter, he boasted: “I’m MAGA rap and proudly wear a MAGA hat.” Lara Trump was very likely smitten.
