Why did Kanye West bare his bottom on the vessel while cruising the canals of picturesque Venice?!

Should anyone be surprised that the boat rental company that leased one of its pleasure crafts to Kanye West and his supposed wife Bianca Censori wanted them banned from any of their vessels after images—showing the rapper-designer with his pants pulled down, exposing his buttocks, while his partner’s face appeared to be between his thighs—circulated online and repeatedly appeared as news notifications on smartphones? Who would have thought that Mr West would take the use of the pleasure craft so literally? This seemingly unseemly act was, according to numerous news reports, performed—and enjoyed?—in full view of the public, as well as paparazzi busy clicking away not far behind the famous duo as they took the sights on the waterways of Venice. Whatever that bodily arrangement was, it could best be described as ‘compromising position’.
From the pictures seen, Mr West was dressed in all black, as he mostly has been in the past year or so, even in punishing summer heat. Despite the apparent heat in Venice, his face was more than half obscured with a scarf, tied to mimic a neck gaiter, pulled up past his nose. It is strange that his face received more cover than his bum, which peeked happily from the single vent of centre-back of his blazer to receive the air. This reveal of Mr West’ backside is, of course, nothing like Lizzo’s exposé—also on a boat—that she recently shared on Instagram, again dividing Netizens. Yet, it was the holidaymakers’ riparian excess and what was suggested that led to the vehicular prohibition. In fact, the company Venezia Turismo Motoscafi was so offended by their shameless customers’ deliberate misbehaviour that it reportedly banned the two for life!

The amorous, but presumably lewd moment-in-the-boat aside, this is not the first time that the holidaying couple upset the Italians since arriving in the Catholic nation early last August. Regardless of where they went, both Mr West and Ms Censori were very oddly—to put it mildly—turned out, including going bare feet. The rapper was mostly covered up in black layers, even when Italy was under Red Alert in 16 cities (including Florence and Venice), where the temperatures in some places reached 40°C. Ms Censori, his employee, who became a muse-cum-mate, was, conversely, dressed to suggest nudity. She might have been unstressed since she mostly wore no underwear and her breasts, if not half-exposed, was visible through the sheerness of her skit-tight clothes—oftentimes catsuits. One outfit left so extremely little to the imagination that she had to, at times, block her chest with a black bag. The locals were not the least amused; they wanted her “arrested”.
Odd behaviour and odder clothing choices are not alien to Kanye West. As for Ms Censori, her sartorial sense is less known. Was she always a lover of shapewear worn alone? That she dresses as if she is promoting Yeezy—the clothing line—seems to suggest the doing of Mr West. After all, he is known to make the decisions when it came to the dress choices of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Bianca Censori is not like his 2022 fling Julia Fox, who is well aware of how she likes to dress—also scantily. She may need guidance. Some observers are of the believe that the rapper is trying to raise his profile as a new album is in the works. And she a good aide. But is buttocks-baring effective? It is not known if he would show his Yeezy collection during the upcoming fashion weeks after the creepy event last May. Perhaps he already has—through his willing spouse, all over Italy.
Update (5 September 2023, 21:00): According to Italian media, the police are now looking into the couple’s racy boat show. Apparently they have found the driver of the vessel and will question him to determine what he saw. A spokesperson for the police department, quoted by Daily Mail, said: “The offence being investigated is an act contrary to public decency which is punishable by an administrative sanction.”
